Justin Bieber-Summary

In computer class we are working on a final project, and I decided to do mine on Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber is most defiantly one of my favorite singers. I just love the songs that he sings, and i also love the fact that they apply to most teenagers. Justin was born on March 1st, 1994. He started becoming popular when his mom started posting videos of him singing on YouTube. By the age of 12 he had entered and placed second in a singing competition. Justin has now had over 10 hits, and came out with 3 different records. He is a very successful teenager, and has become more and more popular every single day.

Summary of the Year

This year has been really fun for me in computer class. I loved my classmates, and my teacher. I learned a lot of new things, and one thing that I liked most about This class is that I can type a whole lot better now. I have really enjoy the class being so small, that way we can get to know each other a lot better. I also think that the students in our class have a lot of potential. Mrs. Brake was a great teacher, and taught all of us a lot. I hope that your computer class is a lot like this one, then you will have a blast!

Help! My files won't open!

Has your computer ever told you that you can not open a file? Well, I am here to tell you how to fix this problem! There are normally 3 reasons why your computer says that you can't open a file. The reasons are: If you get a message denying access to open a file that someone else created, If you get a message denying access when you created a file with a different user name, and If you install a new version of Windows and then you can't open a folder. There are different ways to open your file for each one of these ways. One way is to go on your computer and right-click the folder and click security and follow the options. This would probably be the best way to do it and the most popular.

When I did this project I learned that I need to tell my parents to do a lot better job with trying to keep our computer secured. There are so many different people that would scam you, and you not even know the difference. I think that it is better if people check everything before they put anytime of their personal information on any kind of website. Phishing scams are literally everywhere, and even if they aren't taking over there are still a lot of differnet warning for different ones every single day.

QUESTIONS

1.       Which continent has the most infections? ~North America is the continent that has the most infections in it.

2.       List some reasons why you think this continent has the most infections.~ I think that one reason is, because there are so many people in this continent who has computers. Most people that have computers in the North America have at least one in their home. I think another reason is that when people actually do have computers in North America that they don’t really take that good of care of them. Another reason is just criminals sending out viruses to get other peoples information for money or other things like that.

3.       What are some ways you think that this continent can fix these virus problems? ~ I think one major way that North America can fix these is by making better anti-virus problems. We need to make sure that we check our computers every day, and not open any kind of email that you don’t know what it is. You have to be very cautious about your computer.

"Using someone else's Internet Access"

I think that it is wrong to use someone else's Internet Access either way you look at it. I think that when you use somebody else's hard work, and you don't do anything to get the benefit that you don;t deserve it. In the bible it talks about doing everything to glorify God, and this definitely would not be doing anything to glorify God. It is almost like this you are taking people's money and stealing form them. A bible verse that i really like that is covering this topic is 1 Corinthians 10:31. This always pursues me to do what is right, and I know that if I lived next to a cafe that I would still buy my own Internet Access. I would know in my heart that if I made this decision, it would be the right one.

"Cyber Attacks of the Future"

A self-helaing system is where you are trying to save yourself, as well as your computer, safe from any kind of terroist attack or virus.

An Electromagnetic Pulse is where bad people will do things in cyberspace as well as with bombs or weapons. And, We need to do everything we can to keep ourselves safe!

Would RFID Tags Be Misused?

I think that it could be very easily misused, but could also be a very good thing. There are many people that could put the wrong information in on purpose, and then there are some people that can use it for the right reasons too. I think most people wouldn't lie about there animals if they ahd them in the first place. I am a stong believer in that God makes everything happen for a reason. A Bible verse i really like about this is 1 Thessalonians 2-3. This passage to me is saying that God created us all equally, and that is how all humans should live.

Is the Social Web driving our Commerce?

1) Online Social Networks will change the way that we buy and sell goods, by Helping people understand that things might be better to buy online, but they have to realize that sometimes it is very dangerous to put your personal information on the internet.

2) Buisnesses will respond to the growing of Social Networks, by Just using it to the best of their ability. They will use it as much as they can, and it will help them do what they do faster. It will also help them professionally.

3) The privacy implications of future Social Networking is, They are thinkig that they might be able to use Twitter when they are in Mars. The man in the podcast was pretty much talking about, what they have to do to be able to fly in the plane to Mars, and what you have to do with Technology to get there.

Posting Photos.

I don't think that it is a very good idea to post pictures of other people without their permission, because it is againt the law and they could get very upset with you. It doesn't really matter if it is a good or a bad picture, because you still did it without that other person's permission. In the bible it talks about how you should not lie or keep things from one another. The verse I found that reminded me of this is Exodus 20:16. I try to be as honest as i can, So I think that is why I see a problem with posting something like this for anyone to see.

"Is it okay?"

I think one thing that really sticks out to me in this question is, Is it okay in Gods eyes? We just have to base everything oon Gods principals. A bible verse i like is 2 John 1:6 "And, This is love, That we walk in his commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it."

"Social Creativity and is it wrong?"

I think that it is very wrong if you haven't even given the person who created it credit. I think it is okay to use, but just say at the bottom of the page that you got your ideas from that other person. If you dont do that, It is not very fair to the person who created it in the first place.

Starting Out.

So far this semester I have learned a lot about Web 2.0 tools. I learned that you need to be very safe when you are using social networks. I also learned that if something is blocked on your computer you can unblock it by putting an -s after http.
